Delta flight makes emergency landing at LAX after engine catches fire Friday
A Delta Air Lines flight made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport after one of its engines caught fire Friday, July 18.
The Boeing 767-400 returned to LAX around 2:10 p.m. and landed safely with no injuries reported, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Flames were visible from the plane in footage from LA Flights obtained by KTLA.

The flight was en route to Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta International Airport when it made the emergency landing.
An FAA investigation is ongoing.
